Dr. Benedicta Daudu

Dr. Benedicta Daudu is a Lecturer with the Department of International Law and Jurisprudence, Faculty of Law, University of Jos.
She is an alumnus of the University of Jos where she obtained her 1st, 2nd and 3rd degrees in Law. She attended the University of Pretoria, South Africa where she obtained a certificate in Gender Equality and a Post Graduate Diploma in Monitoring and Evaluation from the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa. She also acquired a certificate in the Program of Advanced Studies on Human Rights and Humanitarian Law from the American University, Washington College of Law.

Dr. Daudu was a recipient of the Carnegie Corporation New York scholarship and was a Fulbright Visiting Research Scholar to the American University, Washington College of Law.

She is a member of several professional bodies including the National Association of Law Teachers (NALT), Federation of Female Lawyers (FIDA), the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) and the National Association of Women Academics (NAWACS). Women’s rights advocate, she has attended several conferences nationally and internationally where she served as a resource person and has several publications to her credit. She coordinates the activities of the Information Communication Technology (ICT) intervention of the Faculty of Law, University of Jos.
She is married with children.
